Conflict with RefinedWiki Space Layout Editor
We currently use RefindWiki as our default Confluence theme, but we also have Enterprise theme installed since we use a few of its widgets.
The problem we have is that there is a conflict with RefinedWiki space layout editor. RefinedWiki support managed to find a workaround by disabling the Packages and Actions (net.getunik.confluence.skin.core.config.url) module of the Enterprise theme and it does actually help. Could you please tell me for what is that module used, since I didn't notice any of the widgets we are using to be affected after we disabled it.
And would you like to provide you with the whole conflict we have with RefindWiki, so that you can check it out and possible fix the problem.
we changed our namespace, so that both add-ons (refined wiki and enterprise theme) can run next to each other
We found the issue. Both themes are using the same namespace dashboard for managing the dashboard / space layout configuration. One of us needs to change this namespace, so that we can run in one Confluence instance.
I will contact the vendor to define who is changing the namespace.
Thank you for reporting us this issue and I will inform you if there will be an update.
Thank you for your detailed report, we will test it and if possible we will deliver an fix.
The Enterprise Theme Module *Packages and Actions (net.getunik.confluence.skin.core.config.url) * is responsible for all Theme specific configurations like:
and some more.
If you just use the macros, you don't need these configuration possibility. Just Macros like the MetaMenu or the Space Manager Macro won't work like expected.
It's been 5 days already, do you have an update?
