We have the viewtracker macro on a page, with expandable option enabled.
When previewing the configuration in the macro editor, the viewtracker is expanded correctly,
but this doesn't work on the page itself. It does count correctly but clicking the arrow to expand
the list doesn't provide the list.
Any idea what is causing this behaviour.
Hi Francis
Thank you for opening this ticket and for using our viewtracker macro.
There is no known issue regarding the expanding functionality. If it's working in the macro browser window and doesn't work on the page - I assume the initialization via JavaScript fails. This can be a side effect from another addon or if you use a specific theme.
Have you tried it if you disable the other manually addons and in the normal theme of Confluence?
If yes it's important for us to know:
Which Confluence Verions
Viewtracker Version
Browser
Manually installed addons
Does it happen in every browser?
So that we cab try to reproduce it.
Thank you
oli
Hi Oliver, we are having this issue now since upgrading to the latest version of Viewtracker 3.2.1, but only when we put it in the page layout. To answer your questions:
Confluence Server 5.7.1
Viewtracker 3.2.1
Browser- Chrome
No new add-ons installed
When just put on a page with the same parameters, the macro works, but when we have it in the page or blog layouts for a space with the following the expand doesn't work:
$helper.renderConfluenceMacro("{viewtracker:hide=true}{show-if:group=confluence-cet}{viewtracker-report:expandable=true|renderusernames=false}{show-if}{show-if:group=confluence-cet}{viewtracker-report:expandable=true|timeframe=30|renderusernames=false}{show-if}")
I just uninstalled the plugin and went back to version 3.1.2, and the expand works again.
Actually - we upgraded to the latest version - and this issue is now resolved (for us)
Confluence 5.5.6, viewtracker 3.2.1
perfect thank you for that update
